The Memo

The following memorandum was sent to President Donald Trump shortly after his inauguration. It informed him about the illegal targeting programs in the US and asked him to put a stop to those those criminal programs.

The memo is primarily the work of Ramola D, with the rest of the Joint Investigation Team supporting her endeavour. The original memo was sent with 46 high profile signatories, by now there are 150 people with high accolades who have added their signature. The current full list of signatories can be found on Ramola D’s site The EveryDay Concerned Citizen.

Executive Order 13818

It is impossible for us to track what direct effect the memorandum had on the President. However, it served to inform him of the gravity of the situation, so that on 21st December, in time for a Christmas present to the world, he determined that “serious human rights abuse and corruption around the world constitute an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security, foreign policy, and economy of the United States” and thereby declared “a national emergency to deal with that threat” in his Executive Order Blocking the Property of Persons Involved in Serious Human Rights Abuse or Corruption.

The Executive Order 13818 appeared on the White House website, as linked above, and can also be found on the Federal Register, see below:
